About the event

After years of teaching hypnobirthing, it became apparently obvious that there was something missing from the education. Many students would express disatisfaction with their birthing experience and a feeling of failure when not being able to employ the techniques during the entire labor process.  Many students also expressed that when birth didn't go to plan (they oftend don't!) or when faced with neccesary interventions, common hospital procedures, or the need for surgican birth, they were unaware and unprepared.

This class will teach you how to use hypnobirthing techniques, until they no longer help you cope. That could mean these techniques help to ease your anxiety during pregnancy only or could take you through until you have a cyring baby in your arms.  Every birth is unpredictable and so is it's birth giver.  This class will allow you the flexibilty to make the choices that are right for you, without shaming/guilt of any kind.

While traditional hypnobirthing also requires a partner to attend, this class welcomes them, but has made adaptations to allow all families to experience the benefits of self-hypnosis regardless of what adults are present for the class.
