HUSKY
(connecticut residents only)
​Staring November 1st of 2025 I will be enrolled as a provider, in Connecticut's Medicaid for pregnant families, HUSKY, as a Certified Professional Doula.
​
My package for Husky clients will work a little differently based on requirements that need to be met by the state. Due to the reimbursement being lower than my fees, these spots will be very limited.

Services included in packages will be as follows:

3 In person prenatal visits in my office in Berlin, CT (husky does not allow for virtual services of any kind)
-
1st prenatal will be one on one to help you to create and understand the birth process, your choices and specifics about your birthing location. We will create a birth plan.

2nd prenatal will be a group prenatal where we will work on Spinning Babies techniques, hands on techniques for partners and support people to help you cope through labor. We will also work on mindset as well as facts and myths labor and birth.

3rd prenatal will be a group prenatal where we will discuss with what ifs, complications, breastfeeding, postpartum care and what happens the day of birth and how to stay in contact.

The day of birth I will help to support you through your labor and birth and will stay at your birthing location until two hours post birth.

You will have access to a portal with resources and information and also messaging for questions in-between prenatal meetings.

1 - 90 minute postpartum visit to help discuss and piece together the ins and outs of your birth. This visit can be in your home or at my office within three weeks of birth.

I will take photos with your permission and will provide you with a private dropbox link.

Build Your Own Doula Package
Sometimes pre-made packages don't fit your needs. Being able to create something that works for your family may be best.
Please refer to the per service price list to customize your package. All prices here also represent additions that can be made to any other prebuilt package as well.
Things to keep in mind: All in person birth doula packages must include one in person prenatal to learn spinning babies techniques.
Healing sessions, education prenatal appointments and childbirth education can be booked by non-doula clients.

Everything but the birth
Some families do not want a doula present during their birth, but are still looking for an expert in their corner while navigating planning, questions, challenges, and anxieties that may come up during their pregnancy.
This service allows families access to my expertise 24/7 via text, phone or email, just as my full birth doula package does. This includes 2 in person prenatals and one virtual postpartum.

Things that are included that you may not have thought of:
Unbiased information for you to make an informed decision that's right for your family. Suggestions of non-confrontational wording when declining provider recs. The ability to help you decipher things that are happening to your body so that there's no waiting for your midwife/obgyn to contact you back (text me a photo!)
