Understanding What's Happening in the Birth Room
August 6 | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Have you ever stood in a birth room and felt like everyone else was speaking a language you didn't understand?
Between fetal monitor terminology, medication names, charting abbreviations, induction discussions and rapid fire conversations between providers, it can be difficult for new doulas to understand what's happening in real time.
This workshop is designed to help you bridge that gap.
We'll break down the language, procedures, and clinical concepts commonly encountered in hospital birth settings so you can feel more confident, informed and prepared while supporting your clients.
