Most doulas are trained to support the birth families hope for.
But what about the birth they didn't expect?
One of the most valuable skills a doula can develop is the ability to remain grounded, adaptable and supportive when birth takes an unexpected turn. Whether plans change gradually or in a matter of minutes, families need doulas who can navigate uncertainty with confidence and compassion.
In this workshop, we'll discuss how to support clients through some of the most challenging and emotionally complex experiences they may encounter during pregnancy, labor, birth and the immediate postpartum period.
